Johnny's Lawns and Gardens is a one-man operation based in Porirua. Johnny Batten started it to do lawn and garden work the way he thinks it should be done: quoted honestly, turned up to on time, and finished properly, with the mess taken away.
Because it's owner-operated, there's no franchise fee built into the price and no crew rotating through your place. The person you speak to on the phone is the person pushing the mower, trimming the hedge and loading the green waste.

Every job starts with a look at the section and a straight price. On the day, Johnny does what was agreed, blows off the paths and driveway, and takes the green waste with him. If something else needs doing, he'll mention it, not just add it to the bill.
Regular customers get the same standard every visit, because it's the same person every visit. One-off customers get a section that looks like someone cared about it.

Where Johnny works
Porirua, Tawa and Pukerua Bay are the core round. Johnsonville and Paraparaumu are covered too, and the round is heading further into Wellington as it grows.
